Program Overview
The purpose of this TCAA course developed from a previous webinar, Gentle Imaging: Pediatric Radiation Exposure in Trauma, is to provide critical information on radiation exposure and diagnostic imaging for pediatric trauma patients.

Target Audience: The Trauma healthcare team and other clinical departments

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, the learner should be better able to:
1. Recall CT radiation dose and how it is measured
2. Interpret data from a review of CT radiation exposure to pediatric trauma patients from regional hospitals
3. Identify best practices in imaging pediatric trauma patients

Faculty Presenter:
Dr. Elizabeth Ey

Presenter Bio

Dr. Ey is Chief of the Division of Pediatric Radiology at Dayton Children's. She has practiced Pediatric Radiology at Dayton Children’s Hospital since 1988. She is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology with Certificate of Added Qualification in Pediatric Radiology by the American Board of Radiology. She completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Tulane University School of Medicine in 1987 and her fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at Cincinnati Children’s Medical Center in 1988.  Dr. Ey is an Associate Clinical Professor at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine.
