Bio: John E. Francis, MD FACS. Senior Surgeon (Trauma/General) has been teaching and training physicians/surgeons in multiple countries for the past 20+ years. Associate Professor of Clinical Surgery for IUSM teaching pilot projects specifically focused on Mature Physician Leadership. Executive Coach for leaders using Clifton/Rare Leadership/COSMOadvantage approach to train leaders to become mature in their interactions and decision making.  Enjoys traveling, working in austere environments, training surgeons in diverse settings, raising Heritage Yak (ancient breed), and competing in aerobatics.
