Screening the Pediatric Population for PTSD and Depression (live webinar)
Screening the Pediatric Population for PTSD and Depression

The 2023 Ask Trauma Care on pediatric mental health screening found that the youngest age screened by 56% of responding centers is between ages 7 to 9. Post-discharge follow-up varied, with 27% not implementing it, while 23% reported follow-up being done in clinics. In the webinar, Terri deRoon-Cassini & Tatiana Davidson will concentrate on pediatric patient screening methods, addressing diverse age groups, and discussing best practices for intervention and follow-up.

Attendees will be able to:

  1. Review screening tools best suited for the pediatric population.
  2. Describe methods to screen children in different age groups.
  3. Describe best practices for intervention and referral following screening.
