Strengthening Trauma Care Across Systems: A Step-Wise Approach to Developing Performance Improvement on a Regional Scale (Live)
Description:
Effective trauma systems rely on robust performance improvement (PI) strategies that are data-driven, transparent, and action-oriented. This webinar will explore the key components of a system-wide approach to implementing successful PI meetings across trauma regions or state. Participants will learn how structured communication, such as standardized letters and templates, can promote transparency, accountability, and follow-through on identified issues. In addition, the session will demonstrate how data dashboards and other visual communication tools can be leveraged to track performance, support decision-making, and drive meaningful outcomes. Attendees will leave with practical strategies to enhance engagement, streamline processes, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within their trauma system, region or state programs.
Attendees will be able to:
Describe the key components of a system-wide strategy for implementing performance improvement (PI) meetings.
Review communication templates (e.g., letters) used to promote transparency and accountability.
Discuss approaches to using data dashboards and communication tools to drive performance outcomes.
