Ebola: Not in My Hospital! is a TCAA course from a previous live webinar. It provides up-to-date information on the spread of Ebola, ways to identify, isolate, and inform others, and information on available resources from the CDC, ASPR and the National Ebola Training Center. At the conclusion of this course, the learner should be better able to:
1. Review the situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and why it is important for us to monitor it closely
2. Discuss processes for identification, isolation, and notification when a patient with possible Ebola presents to a facility point of entry
3. Identify tools and resources to prepare points of entry staff on how to safely and effectively care for a patient with Ebola or other special pathogen
