Presenters:

Ms. Goodman is president/CEO and principal consultant for SLG, Inc., in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is a nationally known speaker and author on the chargemaster, outpatient facility coding, and billing compliance, and has more than 35 years’ experience in the healthcare industry. Ms. Goodman has been actively involved and held leadership roles in professional organizations on the local, state, and national levels, and has served as an ad hoc trauma center revenue integrity consultant for TCAA since 2023.

Elizabeth Waters is born and raised in Knoxville, TN.  She is currently a Trauma Survivors Network Development Coordinator at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.  Elizabeth is currently a Field Instructor for BSSW and MSSW students at the University of Tennessee College of Social Work.  She is an advisory council member for the University of Tennessee Medical Center’s Emergency & Trauma Advisory Council and the Trauma Survivors Network National Advisory Committee.  She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers and is active in her local chapter in Knoxville, TN.
