Performance Improvement: I Inherited a Program, Now What? (Live)
Performance Improvement: I Inherited a Program, Now What? (Live)

Description:

Inheriting a trauma program can feel overwhelming; policies, processes, personalities, and expectations all arrive in your lap at once. This 5-part webinar series is designed to help new (or newly reassigned) trauma leaders quickly understand what’s working, what isn’t, and how to move a program forward with confidence.

Across five focused sessions, participants will learn to systematically evaluate existing program components, identify strengths and gaps, and apply clear criteria to decide whether to keep, refine, or retire inherited elements. Each session breaks down a core domain: overview, operations, trauma registry, injury prevention, and performance improvement, culminating in a practical framework for assessing the “good,” the “bad,” and the “must-change.”

Attendees will be able to:

  • Discuss the importance of conducting a comprehensive gap analysis of PI documents, forms, and structural components
  • List method to identify the effectiveness of your PI program
  • Describe key elements of audit filters and how to sunset outdated ones
